My work with organizations and leaders focuses on helping nonprofits navigate complex leadership challenges, strengthen organizational culture, and align their values with how they operate.
Organizations typically engage with me in one of two ways: through organizational consulting with Healing Equity United or through leadership simulations and experiential learning programs.

Most of my consulting work happens through Healing Equity United (HEU). Through HEU, we partner with nonprofit organizations working to build stronger leadership, healthier organizational cultures, and more equitable systems. Our work commonly includes:
advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) through trainings and assessments
guiding organizations through strategic planning
facilitating difficult conversations and conflict within teams or boards
supporting organizations navigating internal tension between mission, values, and practice

I design and facilitate leadership simulations and experiential learning programs.
These programs use structured scenarios and interactive strategy simulations to help leaders explore:
decision-making under pressure
leadership dynamics within teams
navigating uncertainty and complex organizational challenges
communication and collaboration in high-stakes situations
Simulation-based learning allows leaders to step outside their day-to-day roles and practice new approaches in a structured, reflective environment.

Why Work With Me
My approach to this work is shaped by more than two decades of experience leading nonprofits, navigating complex organizational challenges, and working alongside communities addressing violence, inequality, and systemic barriers.
I’ve served as both a nonprofit executive and a consultant, which gives me a deep understanding of the realities leaders face: limited resources, competing priorities, and the pressure to deliver impact while navigating internal dynamics and external expectations.
Throughout my career, I have led 80+ organizations through moments of crisis, transition, and transformation—rebuilding teams, stabilizing operations, and helping organizations reconnect with the values that guide their work.
Today, I bring that experience into my consulting and facilitation. My work focuses on helping leaders navigate difficult conversations, strengthen trust within teams, and create organizations that more fully reflect their mission and values.
Because the work of social change is complex—and leadership within it requires clarity, courage, and care.
